Gloucestershire County Council Notice of Elections 1st May 2025

1. An election for the areas listed above will be held on 1 May 2025.
2. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Council Offices, Trinity Road,
Cirencester, GL7 1PX between 10am and 4pm, on any working day from the date of this notice
(excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4 pm on Wednesday, 2 April 2025
3. Nomination papers may be obtained by emailing elections@cotswold.gov.uk or telephoning 01285
623002. Completed papers must be submitted by hand. If you wish to make an appointment to
submit your nomination paper, please contact us on the same email or phone number.
4. If any election is contested, a poll will take place on 1 May 2025.
5. Applications to register to vote at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at
the Council Offices, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX by midnight on 11 April 2025.

6. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and postal proxy votes must reach the
Electoral Registration Officer at the Council Offices, Trinity Road, Cirencester, GL7 1PX by 5pm on

7. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector's Document valid for this
election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday, 23 April 2025.
